Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Build scalable and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines and write custom adapter from a large number and variety of data sources
  • Maintain and optimize the performance of our data analytics infrastructure
  • Streamline data access and security to enable data scientists and analysts to easily access data
  • Write daily jobs based on requirements
  • Be flexible enough to work on many different types of tasks without a really strong set of requirements
  • Work closely with the team leader, clients and follow the guideline to accomplish assigned tasks

Your skills and experience

Good candidates for Data Engineer position should have the following qualifications:

  • More than 2 years of hands-on experience, preferably in big data infrastructure
  • Experienced with data-lake, data warehouse, data mart
  • Have experience with a programming language (Python / Go / Javascript) for data processing and analysis.
  • Experience designing SQL tables, indexing, tuning queries, and optimizations across different functional environments
  • Have experience writing complex SQL queries and using BI tools & libraries, such as Airbyte, Airflow, dbt, Supserset, Kafka, Prefect etc.
  • Having experience with AWS services
  • Familiarity with event tracking architecture and A/B testing
  • Ability of communicating in English
